Takarazuka Kinen 2012

Orfevre, winner of the Triple Crown last year, seeks his first 2012 victory when he faces the 15 competitors in the grade one Takarazuka Kinen. The 4-year-old colt is coming off a disappointing 11th-pace finish in the Tenno Sho Spring. He will be ridden by Kenichi Ikezoe and break from post 11.

Rulership is a well-bred horse who has been running well in 2012 campaign. In his last start, he finally seized the first major victory when he won the Queen Elizabeth II Cup at Hong Kong. Craig Williams will take the mount on him for the first time and break from post 7.

To the Glory and Shonan Mighty, who finished first and second in the Naruo Kinen respectively, could make a big run.
